"Thank You" Letter from Sister Joanne .. November 2011

Dear John Mission Newman Community members, one and all,  

A mighty thanks to all of you for all the work you put into making the pancake breakfast such a big success.  Sr. Fran mentioned that some of you brought the check over to the regional house yesterday for a whopping $2450 for our Timau mission.  A great vote of thanks to all who helped especially the planners, the setter-uppers, the chefs, those who made baked goods and brought pumpkins, Leon for arranging for the use of the hall, and to all who helped in any way.  Your great generosity is spilling over to help those who are "down and out" and we can only hope in some way when they are "up and in" that they are going to continue to spread this kindness and caring with a ripple effect to those they come in contact with in their own lives.  We shall be using that money for the education of our college kids who are only able to go there because they are being helped.

     Thank you also for the continued sponsorship for Duncan and Freddie and Evans.  You are a great blessing in their lives and I hope you will enjoy in this second year of sponsorship seeing how they are fast growing up and how they are progressing in life as we forward some updates and pictures.

     God bless each and every one of you for your longstanding and continued help with our mission.  Entering a new month with Thanksgiving coming up in no time, my thanks is for what you have meant to us here and I wish you all God's blessings and goodness in your individual lives and in your families.
