Update - January 2014 .... from Sister Joanne at Timau Mission

The following updates were reported about our three boys at the Timau Mission in Kenya.  Sister Joanne also sent the photos to bring us all up to date.

This is Duncan, with his new Christmas clothes.
Sister Joanne reports:  This year we let the children/guardians pick out their own Christmas clothes and these are what Duncan's grandma picked out for him.  I may have mentioned before that Duncan will be repeating his nursery class as he was a little young for it and needs time to develop and mature.

Freddy's update:

Freddy is doing fine, and is already to attend Grade 5 this January.  He is growing well and doing fairly well in school.  He was 15 our of 32 in his final exam results in November, so is in the upper half of his class.  He's a happy motivated boy, and now that we're opening a Grade 5 in January will be right here with us at St. Elizabeth's.  Since we intend to add a grade per year, he will be one of our first graduating class when we reach Grade 8 in 2017

Sister Joanne gives us the following report about Evans:
Evans has completed his high school studies and is now waiting for his national exam results, which unfortunately don't come out until March.  Based on those results, he may get a chance to attend the school he wishes to, which is a tourism school.  He wants to be a tour bus driver.  I am encouraging him to find some odd jobs and get a little experience for a couple of months while he is waiting.
