Update on Freddy

Update on Freddy --- from Sister Joanne ---

Hi Jack,
I know this was very long in coming but this is a little update from Freddy for the blog.....he has grown into a handsome young man.....in 11th grade now......and I'm hearing now that the Ministry of Education wants to resume school in October and have the second term.   Then from January to April have the third and last term of what they would have had this year.  Then come May or June of next year, they will start the new school year in which he will be in 12th grade.  Their announced plans have changed  so often it's hard to know what really will happen from day to day, but hopefully this plan will go through.
Freddy is not a brilliant student but he values learning, is a very good boy, loves his mother deeply and helps her, and is a very hard worker. He is polite, friendly, and conscientious.  All these traits should help him to get a good job after his senior year.   Hope all is well there.

God bless. Sr. Joanne  ...

BEFORE and AFTER
This elderly couple with a grandchild was living in sub-standard housing just a few months ago.  Thanks, in part, to our JNMC donation and other funding, a much improved house has been built.  The previous house allowed water to flow through it whenever it rained.
The new house includes a poured, concrete foundation and two rows of concrete blocks above grade, which is a great improvement.  The young boy is named Isaac.   Sister Joanne is very grateful to our JNMC donation in August 2020 to allow this project to be completed!
