Updates in 2022 for Our Sponsored Children in Timau Mission

In August, 2022, Sister Joanne sent us updates on two more of our sponsored children at the Timau Mission:  Wendy and Duncan.   Here are some photos and letters from them.  The update from Freddy is found below these two.

In July, 2022, Sister Joanne sent us a letter from our sponsored young man, Freddy.  We have been sponsoring Freddy since 2008!   Updated photos are also posted below.  Click on the image to enlarge the view.   Scroll down to the bottom for more recent photos of Freddy, and the message from Sister Joanne.

Freddy and His Letter 

A message from Sister Joanne:

Hi Jack, I'm never sure if I should be sending this to others or just rely on you to put on the blog, but let me know if I'm failing protocol.

     Freddy is doing ever so much better. They had him repeat when he changed schools but finally this year he is really a senior in high school, and I'm pleased he came out #5 of the 34 kids in his senior class at the end of this first term.

     At the end of this year 2022, he will do the comprehensive finals of all he learned in high school and I hope he will do well in them.

      I've attached an old picture to these current ones of when he was just a little kindergartner. That was taken in 2008 so I know JNMC has sponsored him for at least 14 years if not more. That's quite an accomplishment to bring him up from how he started out. And he (and we) will ever be grateful for that! God bless. Sr. Joanne
