Sandy - Storm Relief Donation

In early November 2012, our community donated funds to Laura Ruhl, the daughter of Dale and Flo Ruhl who is a resident of Long Island.   Somehow and thankfully, Laura's house was spared from the destruction from the storm and the widespread power outage, but residents nearby were severely damaged and without power.    With the help of private donations from our community and a $1,000 donation from our funds in reserve, Laura went to work immediately to assist her neighbors and victims around her neighborhood.

In early December, Dale read this letter from Laura, thanking our community:
